Theatre Props - puppet flying frame

In 2020 I made my first Educational Film with Clonter for its Educational Programme for school children aged 7-11, due to the pandemic, it was not possible for Clonter to have the schools come to the theatre and take part in their theatre workshops and show days. Clonter decided to make that experience as a film instead and send it out to schools as Digital Outreach with an accompanying online teams workshop and Q&A with the designer and singers from the film.

Papageno’s Quest, devised by Amanda Harman of Clonter, is based on Characters from The Magic Flute: Papageno & Papagena, The Queen of the Night, Carmen from Bizet’s Carmen, Cinderella, Puccini’s Musetta, Hansel & Gretel and the Witch, Prince Charming and the puppet Magpie created by Jessica Staton who designed set, costume and the magpie puppet for this production.

The Puppet Flying Frame was created to fly the puppet for Papageno’s scene’s as the bird catcher. Watch the documentary of this film with some behind the scenes: Papageno’s Quest (Coming soon)

Theatre Props - Cauldron

In 2022 I made my second Educational Film with Clonter for its Educational Programme for school children aged 7-11, it was a fantastic live show that we also made as a separate film that now goes out to lots of schools as Digital Outreach.

Puck’s Adventure devised by Amanda Harman of Clonter is based on Shakespeare’s A Mid Summer Nights Dream with characters: Puck, Queen Titania, King Oberon, Hecate the witch and Bottom.

I love working on these projects as they’re truly magical to be part of and I also get the chance to use my other skills assisting creatives such as Jessica Staton who made Set, Costume and Puppets for this production.

A reel of the film that we made is featured on the audio visual page: Puck’s Adventure

catenary system for microphones

I have been recording and filming Howdenshire Music’s recital series since October 2022. In May that year I proposed to install a fixed catenary system pre-wired for microphones for recording each month within the recital season. The Catenary System is the ideal solution for flying microphones, placing them in the perfect spot for recording.
